The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch are looking for individuals who can help create a fun and safe environment for our members' children at our Kids Club. This part-time position requires availability to work flexible hours, including weekday mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays.
Job Summary:
To assist the Family Activities Lead with the Kids Club program. Workers are responsible for the protection and safety of the children in their care while also providing a positive and engaging experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist and supervise Kids Club activities.
- Create Kids Club employee schedule.
- Work Kids Club 1 night a week.
- Thoroughly enjoy working with children and ensure their safety and good conduct.
- Be responsible for proper care of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain excellent friendly daily staff-parent/guardian relationships.
- Exhibit appropriate dress and language for working with children.
- Plan safe and fun activities for the children.
- Display appropriate and mature behavior, serving as a role model for the children.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for the children.
- Assist Fitness Director/Family Activities Director with day-to-day responsibilities, as requested.
- Help develop and lead Kids Club camps for Spring Break, Summer, and Holiday breaks.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent or have a high school diploma or GED.
- Able to push, pull, or lift up to 20 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills; able to speak, write, and read proficient English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience working with children is required.

- Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hiring.
- Must have experience working with children, or in a role of responsibility.
- Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude.
- Reliable and timely - able to arrive at work on time and remain at the Club for the duration of the shift.
