Job Summary:
Renn Kirby Gettysburg is seeking an experienced Kia Certified Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair services on vehicles, ensuring they are safe and properly functioning.

Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems- Communicate effectively with customers to determine their vehicle's needs and provide recommendations for necessary repairs- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly used and cared for- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and advancements through ongoing training
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED equivalent- Kia Certified Technician preferred - Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
