Burlington County Animal Shelter is looking to hire (1) one Part-Time Clerical position. This is a fast-paced, heavy phone volume, and customer service-based position. Must have experience working with computers as the majority of the work is through the Shelter's online database. This job will require you to work every other weekend. You must be at least 18 years old.
REQUIREMENTS
High school education or equivalent; can work in a high-volume customer service atmosphere and basic computer skills.
Knowledge of: Computer and database systems, learning and following manuals and guidelines, money handling principles, basic mathematics, information access via computer systems and personal communications, and responsibly handing customers private personal information.
Skill in: Oral and written communication; office equipment uses such as calculator, telephone, copy/scan/fax machine, and computer (keyboarding and applications).
Must have the Ability to: Operate equipment such as calculator, copy machine, digital imaging equipment, and computers; work effectively and courteously with the general public on a daily basis and in potential conflict situations; work under stressful conditions and remain calm and objective; lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
Rate: $21.07/hour
