    Key Account Manager (Data Capture, MFG/T&L)

    POSITION INFORMATION

    This position will be a key member of the Data Capture Sales team responsible for focusing on net new key customer accounts to drive and grow revenues

    ROLE MISSION

    The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth within assigned Manufacturing and Transportation & Logistics accounts. Assigned accounts include priority existing and prospective customers not covered by a Strategic Account Manager. The KAM develops account strategies, expands Datalogic's presence, identifies new applications and coordinates the appropriate channel and solution partners to win and grow business.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute account plans for assigned priority accounts, including revenue goals, growth opportunities, key applications, stakeholder relationships, competitive position and required channel or solution-provider alignment.
    • Build qualified pipeline by expanding within existing accounts and prospecting targeted new accounts across both Manufacturing and Transportation & Logistics.
    • Interacts primarily with end user customers, and develops relationships with distribution partners, systems integrators to grow revenue. Build customer relationships, and understand customer needs by effectively positioning Datalogic's product portfolio
    • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
    • Develops and owns the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicates back to Datalogic appropriately on an account-by-account basis
    • Establishes executive level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes and business model fully

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

    Education (School/Specialization) Bachelor's degree preferably in a business or technical discipline: Engineering or Business/Marketing degree

    Primary Language Fluent English; written and verbal communication

    Experience 3+ years sales experience to end users and/or through channel partners

    3+ years of experience selling into Tier 1,2,3 accounts in the Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing Market, Mobile Computing market, Scanning or similar market

    3+ years of experience in the AIDC industry preferred (Scanning, Sensor, Automation, Mobile Computing or similar technology)

    60%+/- travel
