Position Overview

The Kennel Technician plays a vital role in the daily care, safety, and wellbeing of dogs within a full-service pet boarding facility offering boarding, enrichment services, dog training, and grooming. This position reports directly to the Shift Lead and General Manager and is responsible for providing hands-on animal care while supporting a clean, safe, and positive environment for both pets and clients.

Key Responsibilities – Animal Care & Daily Operations
• Provide daily care for boarded dogs, including feeding, watering, cleaning, and monitoring health and behavior • Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper humane handling techniques • Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, play yards, and common areas • Assist with dog movement throughout the facility for playtime, enrichment, grooming, or training • Assist the front desk team with dog check-in and check-out processes as needed to ensure smooth client experiences • Observe and report any changes in behavior, health concerns, or incidents to the Shift Lead or General Manager • Assist the Shift Lead or General Manager with additional tasks or operational needs as assigned • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with the company’s core values and mission
