Kennel Assistant

Deep-clean, disinfect, and maintain cages, runs, play yards, and litter boxes; perform routine laundry (bedding/towels) and wash food dishes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our animal guests receive top-quality care, exercise, and attention, while maintaining a spotless and safe environment.

 We are seeking a compassionate, hard-working, and reliable Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our animal guests receive top-quality care, exercise, and attention, while maintaining a spotless and safe environment. The ideal candidate loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and does not mind rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. 


Responsibilities 

• Keep accurate patient records
•  Feed, water, exercise, and socialize dogs, cats,  according to specific instructions and dietary needs. 
•  Deep-clean, disinfect, and maintain cages, runs, play yards, and litter boxes; perform routine laundry (bedding/towels) and wash food dishes 
•  Observe animals closely for any signs of illness, injury, or stress, and promptly report findings to management or veterinary staff 
•  Safely administer oral or topical medications as directed by owners or veterinary staff. 
•  Assist with check-ins and check-outs, provide updates to pet parents, and ensure excellent customer service.
