Your impact
As the go‑to Operator–Programmer for our cylindrical grinding cells, you’ll keep parts moving and tolerances tight while protecting our customers’ components from damage or scrap.
How you’ll work
- Program and operate Kellenberger Kel‑Vista (3 machines) with conversational controls and execute efficient multi‑tool setups.
- Utilize the Kellenberger Kel‑Vita for comparable work and take advantage of its non‑round grinding capability when the print calls for it.
- Run the Jones & Shipman CNC Grinder for precise between‑centers operations.
- Apply your expertise across grinding between centers, chucking OD, and chucking ID processes.
- Clock in and out of jobs to keep time data accurate and useful.
- Execute the plan by following the supervisor’s job schedule and communicating progress.
- Partner with Quality Assurance technicians during critical inspections to validate results.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to quality and efficiency on every run.
What you need to succeed
