JV Boys Basketball CoachThe Buckley School is seeking a qualified basketball coach to coach the boy's JV team for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities may include assisting with organizing and running practices, scheduling games, coaching at games, scouting, overseeing individual and team conditioning workouts, compiling statistics, administering basic first aid, driving to matches and practices, and other duties as required. REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious competitive basketball experience at the junior high/high school or collegiate levelDemonstrated competency in diversity, equity, and inclusionBachelor's degreeExperience coaching basketball teamsAbility to operate a school-provided van to transport student-athletes to away games, practices, or other school-sanctioned events as neededCurrent driver's license Models the highest standards of professionalism and creates warm, uplifting, and trusting working relationships marked by humor, optimism, humility, empathy, excellent emotional intelligence, extraordinary interpersonal skills, and collaboration Demonstrates strong and timely communication skills in person, in writing, by phone, and through other electronic means (such as Zoom)COMPENSATION$5,268 – $7,096 Depending on experience (In-Season) If there is a need to coach during pre-season, the rate will be $63.28 per hour.
