Official Title: Jury Systems Support Analyst
Pay Grade: Grade 21S
Salary Range: 21S Entry Level Pay $88,571.34 to Pay Range Maximum $130,539.76
Starting Pay: $88,571.34
Salary Notes: This position is designated as a Union position. All new hires must start at the entry level rate for this role per the collective bargaining agreement/MOA with OPEIU, Local 6. Pay may advance within the salary band according to the CBA/MOU.
Departmental Mission Statement: The core mission of the Office of Jury Commissioner (OJC) is to provide randomly-selected pools of eligible jurors, representative of the community from which they are drawn, to each of the jury courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in accordance with the needs of those courts and the direction of the Trial Court. The OJC is committed to educating the public on the value and responsibility of serving as a juror, and to providing courteous, professional service to the public and the courts.
Notes: THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT EMPLOYEES OF THE JURY COMMISSIONERS OFFICE.
Position Summary: Provides data systems reporting, data validation, and systems development for the Office of Jury Commissioner (OJC) by accessing and querying relational databases and reporting findings. Assists users in the use of systems applications and makes proposals to improve operations. Collaborates with various members of the OJC, the Trial Court, and to resolve operational issues.
Supervision Received: Works under the direction of a Department Head or his/her designee.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Develops queries to extract and present data relative to jury management requirements.
• Validates data reporting by others to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in creation and validation of annual Master Juror List.
• Collects, analyzes, and shares data, reports, and metrics.
• Provides advice on process improvement, new technology, and initiatives.
• Collaborates on project management teams and implementation for OJC
• Develops proposals and makes recommendations to improve operational efficiency, particularly with respect to data analysis and reporting.
• Participates in system testing and implementation of new releases.
• Works independently, with minimal supervision or direction.
• Performs administrative tasks receiving work orders and writing work reports.
• Supports preparation, testing, training, and implementation of jury systems and related processes;
• Meets and participates on long-term system planning.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Three (3) years of data management work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered for meeting minimum qualifications.

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects.
