Join Our Team as a Junior Treasury Execution Trader – Grow Your Career in International Banking
 

Do you have some experience with Treasury Trading and Operations and you are looking to expand your expertise within a prestigious small asset management company? We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Treasury Liquidity Trader to join our collaborative team at a high-end small asset management firm in New York City. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support key funding activities, execute foreign exchange and interest rate trades, and contribute to the bank’s cash and liquidity management strategies.
 

In this position, you will assist in managing liquidity, executing trades, and supporting the development of treasury strategies that ensure the bank’s financial stability. Your efforts will directly impact our operational efficiency and growth, while providing you valuable experience in a fast-paced treasury environment within an international bank branch setting.

This is a full-time direct hire role working hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week in Midtown Manhattan with an organization that offers competitive compensation, the salary range for the role is $100,000-105,000 per year, an annual bonus, and a great benefits package.
 

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or other quantitative course of study
  • 1+ years of experience trading or trading assistant experience with treasury products at an international bank
  • Experience with interest rate products, foreign exchange, and securities investments
  • Familiarity with trading platforms, treasury systems and treasury operations
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Access)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of liquidity management, funding strategies, and regulatory compliance in banking
  • Proven ability to support process improvements and operational projects

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and with external counterparts
  • Willingness to support a variety of operational and project tasks as needed
  • Understanding of banking compliance standards and regulatory frameworks
