    Description

    Job Title: Junior Trainer

    Compenstation: $45,000 - $50,000 Annual Salary

    Purpose: A socially-conscious company is seeking Junior Trainers to facilitate job readiness workshops for low-income and underserved job seekers. They will design and facilitate curriculum for adult and youth participants around topics of career exploration, job search best practices, professionalism, and more; as well as facilitating small group sessions with job seekers. Junior Trainers will ideally be entry-level or recent college graduates who are interested in future careers in workforce development and job readiness training.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Facilitate workshops on a variety of job readiness and educational topics
    • Design curriculum and lesson plans for a variety of job readiness topics
    • Research content and crete presentations for new classes
    • Facilitate in-person and/or virtual workshops
    • Work on special assignments, as needed

    Desired Qualifications

    • Minimum of 4-year degree (current college seniors encouraged to apply!)
    • Experience with teaching, mentoring, and/or tutoring preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
    • Ability to work creatively and adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness
