As a Junior Staff Accountant, you'll play an important role in supporting the financial operations that help drive our company's success.

What You'll Do

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you'll support day-to-day accounting functions and help ensure accurate financial processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices, including down payments
• Issue and maintain customer credit memos
• Accurately record daily cash receipts
• Prepare accounts receivable statements and assist with collection activities
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Reconcile company purchase card transactions and supporting documentation
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Assist with annual audit preparation by gathering schedules and documentation
• Provide general accounting and administrative support for the Finance Department
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and Vice President of Finance

What You Bring

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Lookup Functions
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices
• Experience managing administrative office functions such as filing, reporting, printing, and email communications
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
