The Role We Want You For
Clayco is looking for a Junior ServiceNow Engineer to join the IT Applications team and grow into a dedicated platform contributor. This is a role built for someone who already works with ServiceNow in their day-to-day and is ready to go deeper on the platform itself.
This role focuses on the operational and administrative layer of ServiceNow: keeping things clean, accurate, and running well. The right candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working within defined processes, and curious about how the platform works under the hood. This is an intentional growth role — supported by the Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer — with a clear path toward broader platform responsibility over time.
The Specifics of the Role
Platform Administration

Background
- Experience working with ServiceNow in a daily capacity — Service Delivery, IT support, or a similar operational role strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ITSM concepts such as Incident, Request, and Change Management from an end-user or process perspective
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience considered
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is a plus; willingness to pursue it is expected
Technical Skills
- Comfort navigating the ServiceNow interface including list views, form configuration, and basic filter/query logic
- Ability to build reports and dashboards using ServiceNow’s native reporting tools
- Basic understanding of how ServiceNow tables, fields, and relationships work — or a clear willingness to develop this quickly
- Familiarity with user administration concepts: roles, groups, access control, and service accounts
- General IT literacy: Active Directory, ticketing systems, and standard enterprise tools
Soft Skills
- Detail-oriented and process-driven; takes ownership of tasks through to completion
- Clear communicator — able to interact with end users and translate requests into actionable platform tasks
