Description
Title: Junior Property Accountant
Pay: $24-27/hr
Location: Vancouver, WA
Were looking for a detail-oriented Junior Property Accountant to support the accounting functions for a portfolio of client-owned multifamily properties. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational accounting experience who wants to continue developing their skills, gain exposure to property accounting, and eventually take ownership of a dedicated portfolio.
What Youll Do
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Review and process resident move-outs in accordance with applicable requirements
- Prepare move-out refunds and related correspondence
- Review and verify invoices and check requests for accuracy
- Process electronic payments and accounts payable checks
- Support accounts receivable activities
- Assist with annual 1099 preparation, mailing, and filing
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, residents, vendors, and internal team members
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and accounting projects
- As you become fully trained, manage full-cycle accounting for a dedicated portfolio of properties

Previous accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, or property management accounting experience is preferred.
