Junior Project Manager

This role will assist with project documentation, scheduling, billing, change orders, and client communication while gaining hands-on experience in construction project management. Seeking a Junior Project Manager to support a team of Project Managers on construction projects from planning through completion.

Position Summary
Seeking a Junior Project Manager to support a team of Project Managers on construction projects from planning through completion. This role will assist with project documentation, scheduling, billing, change orders, and client communication while gaining hands-on experience in construction project management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and documents to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Assist with project scheduling, tracking milestones, and monitoring progress.
• Prepare and process AIA billing documentation.
• Create, review, and manage change orders and RFIs.
• Review project submittals and maintain project records.
• Communicate project updates with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
• Understanding of RFIs, change orders, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of AIA billing standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction Management, Engineering, or related educational background.
• Experience supporting project managers on commercial construction projects.
• Familiarity with BIM, drafting, or construction coordination processes.
• Desire to grow into a long-term Project Management career.
