We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support production processes, product launches, quality activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an entry-level opportunity, but candidates should have some relevant hands-on experience through an internship, co-op, manufacturing role, or engineering project.

Are you an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment?We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support production processes, product launches, quality activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an entry-level opportunity, but candidates should have some relevant hands-on experience through an internship, co-op, manufacturing role, or engineering project.
What You’ll Do:
• Provide technical support to the engineering and production teams
• Collect, verify, and enter testing and quality data
• Support new product launches from prototyping through run-at-rate production
• Help troubleshoot production setups, changeovers, and process issues
• Assist with PPAP documentation, CMM activities, and quality requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality and process efficiency
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Develop knowledge of flow forming and advanced manufacturing processes
• Help manage assigned manufacturing cells and track key performance measures
• Assist with training Technical Operators
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
• Candidates who are close to completing their degree may also be considered
• Some relevant experience through an internship, co-op, academic project, or manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Interest in process engineering, manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ability to work on-site in Shelby Township on first shift
