Junior Print/Textile Designer
Our client is a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality sleepwear, layering, and intimates and is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Print/Textile Designer to join their design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for color, pattern, and trend, along with a passion for creating original prints and textile designs.
Responsibilities
- Create original prints, patterns, and artwork for seasonal collections.
- Assist in developing print and textile concepts based on trends, customer needs, and brand direction.
- Research fashion, color, print, and textile trends.
- Prepare artwork for presentations, production, and vendor communication.
- Create colorways and modify existing prints as needed.
- Maintain organized artwork, CADs, and print libraries.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Production teams.
- Ensure artwork is accurate and meets technical and production requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in print or textile design preferred; internships will be considered.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong sense of color, scale, composition, and repeat patterns.
- Ability to research and interpret fashion and market trends.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating print, pattern, and textile design skills is required.
Salary $65-75K
