Junior Network Engineer

Responsibilities: of the Junior Network Engineer: Perform network support and maintenance tasks, including patching, cabling, and Layer 1 troubleshooting. Assist with the administration and upkeep of on-premises network infrastructure and connectivity services. Support the deployment and integration of cloud service provider (CSP) solutions in a hybrid environment. Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and connectivity issues across various technologies and locations. Partner with infrastructure and systems teams to maintain network stability and performance. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and system updates. Provide hands-on assistance with network equipment installations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Qualifications: of the Junior Network Engineer: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. 2+ years of experience in network support, systems administration, or network engineering. Experience with Layer 1 networking, cabling, patching, and physical infrastructure support. Strong troubleshooting abilities across network and infrastructure environments. Background supporting on-premises systems with exposure to hybrid cloud technologies. CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience required. Working knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and enterprise networking principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
