Role Overview

The Junior .NET Web Developer will support the implementation and/or support of various client applications throughout the development life cycle. The role is based onsite in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The position calls for someone who can work effectively in a team setting or as an individual contributor while handling multiple priorities and deliverables.

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement and/or support various client applications.
• Work with System Architects and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and solutions architecture.
• Assist in the full life cycle of development.
• Develop design artifacts.
• Develop and test application components based on design specifications.
• Implement application components.
• Provide technical analysis support to the team.

Required Technical Skills

• Foundational ASP.NET and .NET development capability, including ASP.NET MVC 5.0, webAPI/RESTful services, ASP web forms, and the .NET framework.
• Excellent SQL development skills and foundational SQL capability.
• Excellent understanding of Object Oriented design and programming.
• Ability to write use cases.
• Foundational responsive web design capability using Bootstrap and LESS.
• Familiarity with JavaScript Frameworks including AngularJS, JQuery, etc., as well as Unity Application Block.
• Experience using Microsoft TFS.
• Experience in the Workforce Development industry.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Experience interacting with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL DB administration is a plus.
