Position Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Mechanical/Utility Engineer with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems, utilities, and facility engineering. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and brings solid knowledge of HVAC, piping, boilers, and industrial utilities in a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical and utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, steam, etc.)
  • Support project management for upgrades, installations, and maintenance of facility systems
  • Conduct performance analysis and troubleshooting of utility systems and recommend improvements
  • Ensure systems meet operational, environmental, and safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and equipment layouts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and contractors
Required Qualifications:
  • 5–10 years of experience in mechanical or utility engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of industrial utility systems and mechanical infrastructure
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering software tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure
