Junior Mechanical Estimator

Located in West Georgia , the company continues to grow and is expanding its estimating team to support increasing demand across commercial and industrial construction projects , particularly in healthcare and higher education . The position focuses heavily on the takeoff process , assisting in preparing estimates for mechanical construction projects involving HVAC and plumbing systems .

Due to this growth, we are seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator / Assistant Estimator




Position Overview

This role will support the estimating department and work closely with a team of three experienced estimators. The position focuses heavily on the takeoff process, assisting in preparing estimates for mechanical construction projects involving HVAC and plumbing systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their estimating career within a respected mechanical contractor while gaining exposure to complex commercial and industrial projects.




Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications

• Assist estimators with bid preparation and estimate development

• Support pricing of materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes

• Organise project documents and bid packages

• Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate and competitive bids

• Participate in internal estimate reviews and project discussions




Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of estimating or construction experience preferred

• Exposure to mechanical construction, HVAC, or plumbing systems

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Desire to grow within a mechanical contracting environment
