Position Details

Our district is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Robotics Coach to support and inspire students in our growing robotics program. The ideal candidate is passionate about STEM education, enjoys hands‑on problem‑solving, and thrives in a collaborative, student‑centered environment. This role includes guiding students through robotics challenges, preparing for competitions, and fostering teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the student robotics team during practices and competitions
• Teach foundational robotics concepts, programming basics, and engineering principles
• Support students in designing, building, and troubleshooting robots
• Promote teamwork, perseverance, and positive sportsmanship
• Coordinate competition logistics and maintain team equipment
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and community partners to grow the program

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics, engineering, programming, or related fields
• Ability to motivate and engage junior high school students
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn competition rules and robotics platforms
• Prior coaching or teaching experience preferred but not required
