Description/Responsibilities-
- Academic planning and counseling
- Work closely with elementary counselor and 6th grade teachers to prepare students for the transition
to Jr. High
- Work closely with the high school counselor to generate an academic pathway for students entering
high school
- Social and emotional counseling of students
- 504 coordination for grades 7-12
- Work collaboratively with teachers and cooperatively with administration
- Work collaboratively with outside resources
- Hold students to high academic and behavioral expectations and follow the student and staff
handbooks adopted by the school.
- Be competent in the use of technology and willing to learn how to use the schools chosen platforms.
- Effectively communicate with parents about students' grades, behavior and activities
