Junior Healthcare Quality Analyst

About the Opportunity

A growing healthcare services organization supporting pharmaceutical and patient access programs is seeking a Junior Healthcare Quality Analyst to join its team.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented healthcare professional with experience in quality assurance, auditing, data validation, case review, or operational quality. The Junior Healthcare Quality Analyst will help ensure healthcare data and processes meet established quality standards by identifying errors, investigating exceptions, validating information, and working with internal teams to resolve issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare operations experience who wants to grow their career in quality assurance and data quality.

What You'll Do

  • Perform quality assurance reviews and audits of healthcare data and operational information
  • Identify and investigate errors, discrepancies, exceptions, and data quality issues
  • Validate information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Research and resolve exceptions and escalations involving healthcare data
  • Review information received through system integrations, batch files, and other data feeds
  • Analyze quality findings to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential root causes
  • Document quality issues, findings, corrective actions, and resolutions
  • Escalate recurring or significant quality concerns to appropriate team members and leadership
  • Partner with operations, business, and technical teams to resolve quality issues
  • Assist with root-cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to quality findings
  • Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, accuracy, and operational performance
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and healthcare information

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical services, patient support, reimbursement, HUB services, medical claims, or healthcare operations
  • Experience with quality assurance, quality auditing, case auditing, data validation, reconciliation, compliance review, or exception management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies
  • Strong analytical and investigative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to review large amounts of information while maintaining accuracy
  • Experience documenting findings and communicating quality issues
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare quality assurance or operational quality
  • Specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical HUB, patient access, reimbursement, or patient assistance experience
  • Experience conducting case audits, data audits, or quality reviews
  • Experience identifying trends and performing root-cause analysis
  • Exposure to UAT, data reconciliation, or system/data validation
  • Experience with healthcare data feeds, EDI, APIs, Postman, or SoapUI
  • Basic SQL or data querying experience is a plus
