Junior Field Technicians - Boston

We require Junior Field Technicians to join our company to support a major real estate and network relocation project in Boston.Main responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:-

• Outside Plant Fibre
• Inside Plant Racks, Cabling, etc
• DWDM
• SDH
• IP
• DCN
• Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)

In addition, this role will require utilising bespoke inventory systems and will require individuals who have a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.



The role will also offer the chance to travel.

• Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
• Knowledge of telecommunication principles
• Conversant with Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• IP principles and Networks experience desirable
• Advanced Excel or Access Skills
• AC/DC Power experience desirable
• Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)
