Job Title: Junior Exterior Lighting Engineer
Location: Irvine, California (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Design and develop automotive exterior lighting components, including headlamps, tail lamps, center light panels, and corner lamps.
• Perform styling feasibility studies and review A-class surfaces and craftsmanship requirements.
• Design automotive lighting components using CATIA V6.
• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility and ensure designs meet production requirements.
• Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers to optimize cost, weight, joining methods, molding, and testing performance.
• Apply knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and lighting systems.
• Complete and release component, subsystem, and detailed designs.
• Review simulation results and incorporate recommendations into product designs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• 0 3 years of experience in automotive interior or exterior lighting design; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of automotive exterior lighting systems and components.
• Familiarity with CATIA V6 and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
