Job Description
- Analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary details for estimates.
- Prepare detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Assist in bid preparation and submission for commercial and multifamily construction projects.
- Maintain up-to-date records of project costs and budget adjustments.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide input on budgeting and scheduling.
- Support the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive pricing and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
