    Junior Electronics Repair Technician

    Full-Time | Hourly | On-site
    Schedule: Monday–Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

    The Junior Electronics Repair Technician supports the repair, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial electronic and electro-mechanical equipment while developing technical skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. This role is ideal for recent technical school graduates, electronics enthusiasts, military veterans, or individuals with hands-on experience building computers, soldering, robotics, or working on electronic devices.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assist with the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electronic equipment
    • Perform power-up, diagnostic, and functional testing on equipment
    • Inspect, clean, and verify part numbers on processed units
    • Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
    • Perform basic soldering, component replacement, and light repair work as needed
    • Document repair activities and test results within company systems
    • Process units to Ready-to-Sell (RTS) standards
    • Follow established repair, testing, quality, and safety procedures
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Work closely with senior technicians to develop technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
    • Support production goals and departmental objectives
    • Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned

    • Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn
    • Interest in electronics, troubleshooting, testing, and repair

    • Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures
    • Detail oriented and organized
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Knowledge & Skills Required
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Good communication skills
    • Basic mechanical aptitude
    • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred
    • Basic soldering experience is a plus
    • Experience building computers, gaming systems, electronics projects, robotics, or similar hobbies is a plus

    Education & Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Technical school training, trade school, military technical training, or related coursework preferred
    • Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or similar education is a plus
    • Previous electronics repair experience is helpful but not required

    Physical Demands
    • Occasional reaching, working overhead, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
    • Frequent walking
    • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
    • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, and continuous lifting up to 10 pounds

    Work Environment
    This position operates within a production and warehouse environment. Employees work with industrial electronic equipment, testing devices, hand tools, and repair fixtures. Closed-toe, hard-soled shoes are required. Employees must follow all company safety procedures and wear company identification badges while on-site.
