Position Overview
Amatriot is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Junior) to support a customer at NSWC Crane. This role supports electrical system architecture, system integration, technical documentation, requirements tracking, project coordination, and lifecycle engineering activities across the design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of electrical systems.
The Electrical Engineer (Junior) works with project teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders to help ensure systems, materials, documentation, and deliverables meet customer requirements, technical standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Systems Engineering
- Define electrical system implementation approaches and operational concepts.
- Develop models and architectural guidelines supporting current and future system development.
- Provide technical input supporting implementation of system architecture by engineering and technical staff.
- Support electrical system analyses across the full system lifecycle.
- Support total system product integration activities including concept development, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Project Coordination and Integration
- Attend project meetings as assigned.
- Support project coordination and integration activities.
- Assist with management of project schedules and integration within site processes.
- Track project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery efforts.
- Support multiple projects concurrently.
Requirements and Technical Documentation
- Support requirements generation, traceability, review, and tracking.
- Maintain accurate requirements-tracking information throughout project execution.
- Generate, draft, review, and maintain technical and program documentation.
- Support document-control activities.
- Prepare technical information and data for presentation to project stakeholders.
Technical Reviews and Governance
- Support program management activities, readiness reviews, and governance boards.
- Participate in and support technical exchange meetings.
- Provide technical information required for project reviews and decision-making activities.
Quality and Vendor Coordination
- Help ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer.
- Monitor project-team and vendor performance to support technical rigor.
- Track material and part delivery schedules.
- Support verification that delivered products meet customer needs and project requirements.
Communication and Team Support
- Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary team environments.
- Communicate with personnel ranging from senior leadership to installation teams.
- Present technical information clearly and accurately.

Experience
- Experience tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs. [Required]
