Junior CNC/EDM Tooling Technician
Direct Hire | Starting at $22+/hour | Spring Lake, MI
A day in your new role
Picture this: you clock in at 7:00 AM, review the day’s priorities with a seasoned toolmaker, and move to a CNC mill where you’ll load a program, verify a setup, and check offsets. Before lunch, you’ll shadow an EDM operation, learn how electrodes and toolpaths come together, and take measurements with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances down to .0005". In the afternoon, you might tweak a G-code line under guidance, update a fixture, and help with routine maintenance. You wrap by documenting results and straightening your work area as part of 5S and continuous improvement.
