ABOUT OUR CLIENT
- Established manufacturing organization supporting production-driven operations
- Collaborative environment partnering with purchasing, production, quality, engineering, and accounting teams

- Opportunity to build hands-on purchasing and supply chain experience as the Junior Buyer
- Role offers exposure to suppliers, quoting, inventory planning, and ERP data management
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR BUYER:
- The Junior Buyer will convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and deliveries
- The Junior Buyer will follow up on past-due orders, obtain supplier quotations, and assist with price comparisons and negotiations
- Maintain supplier, material, and purchasing information within the ERP system and assist with new supplier setup
- Support purchasing metrics, resolve supply issues, and complete additional purchasing or administrative duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JUNIOR BUYER:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and identify purchasing discrepancies in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials, supply chain, or related experience is a plus
- ERP or MRP experience, including SAP or Plex, is a plus
