Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps practices, and modern DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain containerized applications running on AWS EKS.
- Develop and maintain CI pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar CI tools.
- Support continuous delivery using Argo CD and GitOps-based deployment practices.
- Create and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
- Manage application and infrastructure secrets using Doppler or similar secret-management solutions.
- Work with JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact/package repositories.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and CI/CD-related issues.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and automation.
- Follow DevOps and cloud security best practices.
Required Skills- AWS: Basic to intermediate knowledge, with hands-on exposure to Amazon EKS.
- Kubernetes: Understanding of pods, deployments, services, namespaces, and basic troubleshooting.
- CI: Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
- CD/GitOps: Basic experience with Argo CD or similar GitOps deployment tools.
- Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on knowledge of Terraform.
- Secrets Management: Knowledge of Doppler, AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, or similar tools.
- Artifact Management: Knowledge of JFrog Artifactory or similar artifact repositories.
- Git: Good understanding of Git and common Git workflows.
- Basic Linux/Unix command-line knowledge.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have- Exposure to AWS services such as IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, and Load Balancing.
- Basic understanding of Docker/containerization.
- Familiarity with Helm charts.
- Basic understanding of YAML and scripting.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
