In this Junior Architectural Designer opportunity, you’ll support design development and produce construction documents while building your skills in a fast-moving, detail-driven practice in Scottsdale, AZ or New York City.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Junior Architectural Designer position include:
- 0–3 years of postgraduate architectural experience (non-licensed)
- Completed professional architecture degree from a NAAB-accredited program required
- AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit, SketchUp, and other 3D visualization software preferred
- Independently perform a variety of assignments across conventional aspects of architecture for projects of moderate size and complexity
- Take ownership of specific design aspects and smaller projects, leading design development, coordination, and construction document production
- Produce and assist with preparation of bid, permitting, and construction documents for contractors, stakeholders, and municipal submittals
- Research and produce design/construction documents for code compliance, quality control, and constructability
- Independently conduct field surveys and site assessments
Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
