    The Opportunity

    Our location in Irving, TX currently has an opportunity for a Jr. Customs and Trade

    Compliance Analyst. This team member will provide technical and analytical support for

    Customs and trade compliance matters at the site/division level, ensuring compliance with

    all relevant customs regulations and trade laws and regulations, including 19CFR,15CFR,

    FDA, USDA, and other US regulatory agency requirements. Depending on the site/division,

    incumbents in this position may specialize solely in import or export-related activities or

    may be involved in both

    What You’ll Work On

    • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.
    • Applies working knowledge of import/export regulations and requirements to support business needs.
    • Assist site/division Customs and Trade Compliance personnel in completing HTSUS and/or ECCN classifications and addressing import and export compliance issues related to 19 CFR and 15 CFR.
    • Conduct effective and timely transactional review/audit of all import/export records.
    • Consolidate and analyze import/export data to identify risks or opportunities for savings.
    • Prepare reports and make recommendations to management, as appropriate.
    • Provide analytical support related to all related customs requests for information, Post-Entry Amendments and Prior Disclosures.
    • Ensure proper classification, valuation, and origin determination for the site’s imported/exported goods, including non-commercial goods.
    • As directed by Supervisor/Manager, implement appropriate corrective actions in response to any audit requests.
    • Actively share customs and logistics expertise and data with cross-functional teams (logistics, purchasing, materials management, etc.); guiding them through decisions that potentially could be impacted by customs regulations.
    • Provide analytical support to general import/export-related projects.
    • Operates with general direction and supervision from the Supervisor/Manager.
    • Train and keep up to date on latest Customs, FDA and other government agency import regulations as well as U.S. Export laws, policies, and Administration Regulations.
    • Must have the ability to analyze opportunities and make recommendations on options and/or alternatives to achieve divisional financial objectives.
    • The Analyst will be privy to highly confidential financial information and must work within the scope of attorney/consultant and client privilege, where deemed appropriate.
    • The proper balance between cost optimization and compliance must be maintained.
    • Maintain constant communication/interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quick responses and satisfactory outcomes.
    • Support and sustain a lean culture of continuous process improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    • 3-5 years related experience: Export/Import Compliance (specifically CBP, EAR, FTA, USMCA etc..)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, finance or related field
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills with proficiency in Excel
    • Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Self-starter, adaptable, can work in ambiguity and independently.
    • Work complex issues across systems and organizations be able to understand how they interrelate
    • Ability to work across teams and time zones
    • Possess strong work ethic and have a demonstrated record of working successfully in a with time sensitive documents.
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to understand auditing documents
    • Strong financial skills and understanding of how to read and use government regulations
    • Proficient with statistics and analysis
    • Acute attention to detail

    The base pay for this position is

    $50,700.00 – $101,300.00

    In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
