    Description

    Jefferson is seeking Acquisition Specialist to support the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Mission Support Services.

    This role will be remote; however, travel may be required during the period of performance. This position requires that applicants reside in the United States and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Applicants must maintain U.S. residency for the duration of their employment.

    The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide acquisition support from the pre-award through award phases, including document preparation, coordination, and follow-up in accordance with established timelines and AQD policy.
    • Prepare and maintain acquisition documents, including SOWs, PWSs, SOOs, IGEs, RFIs, SBA offer letters, GSA schedule awards, justifications, IAAs, D&Fs, MOUs, and acquisition plans.
    • Research historical procurement, market, and industry information to support acquisition strategies, contracting approaches, and pre-award actions.
    • Support development of QASPs, RFPs/RFQs, solicitation terms and conditions, source selection criteria, and Source Selection Plans.
    • Support review and analysis of contractor cost and price information, including direct and indirect costs and considerations of cost reasonableness, allowability, and allocability.
    • Use federal acquisition and business-related systems, including PRISM, FPDS-NG, FAPIIS, SAM/SAM.gov, GSA e-Library, and e-File, for data entry, validation, and research.
    • Support contract administration activities, including modifications, routine contractual actions, contractor performance documentation, and maintenance of contract records.
    • Support contractor invoicing activities by logging and reviewing invoices, preparing documentation for CO and/or COR action, and maintaining supporting records.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Three years of relevant experience supporting federal acquisition, contracting, procurement, or related activities.
    • Working knowledge of federal acquisition concepts, policies, procedures, and terminology.
    • Demonstrated ability to prepare, organize, and maintain acquisition and contract documentation accurately and in accordance with established requirements.
    • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information to support acquisition activities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Government and contractor stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Federal acquisition experience, including experience supporting pre-award or contract administration activities.
    • Experience using federal acquisition systems such as PRISM, FPDS-NG, FAPIIS, SAM/SAM.gov, GSA e-Library, or e-File.
