Key Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant



  • Maintain and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness as the Junior Accountant

  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process as the Junior Accountant

  • Perform balance sheet analysis and identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement as the Junior Accountant

  • Complete daily bank reconciliations to verify that all transactions are properly recorded as the Junior Accountant

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations and generate aging reports as the Junior Accountant



Qualifications for the Junior Accountant



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

  • 3+ years of accounting experience with a stable work history

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively within accounting systems and structured processes
