    Client Overview:
    Our client is a well-established organization seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join their growing Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience and continue developing their accounting skills.

    Salary/Hourly Rate:
    $60k - $70k plus Discretionary bonus

    Position Overview:
    The Junior Accountant will support the Accounting team with day-to-day accounting functions, reconciliations, accounts payable, and general financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 2 years of accounting-related experience and a strong analytical mindset.

    Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:
    • Assist with accounts payable, invoice processing, and general accounting activities.
    • Prepare bank and account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
    • Assist with journal entries and maintaining accurate General Ledger records.
    • Support month-end close and financial reporting activities.
    • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
    • Assist the accounting team with additional projects and day-to-day financial tasks as needed.
    Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Accountant:
    • 6 months to 2 years of accounting or finance-related experience; relevant internship experience will be considered.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work through numerical problems using a clear and logical thought process.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new accounting systems.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Must be able to work fully onsite in Coconut Grove.
    Preferred Experience/Skills for the Junior Accountant:
    • Previous exposure to accounts payable, reconciliations, bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, or other general accounting functions.
    • Previous accounting or finance internship experience.
    Education Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a U.S. university is required.
