The Junior Account Executive provides reliable support to the sales team to help improve efficiencies as sales volumes increase. This is a high-touch customer service role. Significant on-the-job training will be provided.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Funding loans is the #1 goal - drive new business to Velocity Mortgage daily.
• Daily outbound calling for new broker contacts and loans.
• Add new broker contacts and broker offices.
• Review and price loan scenarios.
• Generate loan quotes on behalf of Account Executives and deliver terms to customers.
• Submit loans through the loan portal.
• Ensure all sales documents and agreements are completed and executed before they are uploaded to underwriting.
• Collaborate with the sales team and operations staff to monitor loan submissions and make sure loans close on time.
• Work with the processing team on pipeline management, as well as other duties as directed by management from time to time.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to source leads, network, and build relationships.
• Real estate knowledge helpful.
• Experience with business applications software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Highly motivated, self-starter.
• Excellent communication skills, good phone presence.
• Positive, reliable, organized, and resourceful, with good judgment, attention to detail, and a team-player mindset.

Education Requirements:

• College degree preferred.
