JUNIOR ACADEMY LEAD TEACHER
ENGLISH STATION CAMPUS
MONDAY - FRIDAY
We seek to hire a Junior Academy Lead Teacher who shall:
- Provide spiritual leadership to the students entrusted to his/her care
- Teach the curriculum provided by the school
- Use instructional materials and methods which are consistent with the school''s educational and Biblical philosophy
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning
- Seek to communicate clearly, accurately and often
- Handle conflict and manage with objectively when conflicts arise
- Use Matthew 18 principle when needing to share concerns
- Communicate with parents regularly
- Attend and participate in scheduled meetings as required
- Take advantage of opportunities to grow professionally
- Keep anecdotal records of unusual events in the life of a child
- Maintain good working relationships with other faculty
- Maintain working hours assigned by the Junior Academy Director
- Follow all school policies
- Accept teaching position assigned by the Junior Academy Director and any extra duties
The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:
- A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature, godly spirit
- A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
- Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith
Requirements:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required
- Experience leading a classroom and lesson planning experience preferred
The candidate shall prior to start date provide/successfully complete the following:

CPR & First Aid Training
Criminal Records Check
Child Abuse and Neglect Check (CAN)
