Junior Academy Lead Teacher 2026-2027 School Year

JUNIOR ACADEMY LEAD TEACHER

ENGLISH STATION CAMPUS

MONDAY - FRIDAY

We seek to hire a Junior Academy Lead Teacher who shall:

• Provide spiritual leadership to the students entrusted to his/her care
• Teach the curriculum provided by the school
• Use instructional materials and methods which are consistent with the school''s educational and Biblical philosophy
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning
• Seek to communicate clearly, accurately and often
• Handle conflict and manage with objectively when conflicts arise
• Use Matthew 18 principle when needing to share concerns
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Attend and participate in scheduled meetings as required
• Take advantage of opportunities to grow professionally
• Keep anecdotal records of unusual events in the life of a child
• Maintain good working relationships with other faculty
• Maintain working hours assigned by the Junior Academy Director
• Follow all school policies
• Accept teaching position assigned by the Junior Academy Director and any extra duties

The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:

• A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature, godly spirit
• A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
• Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required
• Experience leading a classroom and lesson planning experience preferred

The candidate shall prior to start date provide/successfully complete the following:

1. TB Test

2. CPR & First Aid Training

3. Criminal Records Check

4. Child Abuse and Neglect Check (CAN)
