HTI is hiring Material Handlers for JTEKT in Piedmont, SC. These are full-time, temp-to-hire manufacturing roles offering consistent schedules, weekly pay, and overtime opportunities—with the potential for a quick transition to full-time employment with JTEKT.
What You’ll Do
As a Material Handler, you will:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack forklifts (type varies by area/site)
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials within the facility
- Supply production lines accurately and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
- Follow safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete other duties as assigned
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift — $18.00/hr
2nd Shift — $18.00/hr
3rd Shift — $18.00/hr
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Previous forklift experience required
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and stable work history
- Must be able to understand and respond to visual/audible notifications unless otherwise stated by the client
