Pay: $15-$17, this is a non-exempt, seasonal position
Turn your passion for skating into leadership on the ice!
Are you an experienced skater who enjoys helping others learn and grow? The Winnetka Park District is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Junior Ice Instructors to assist with our skating programs and help create a positive, fun, and supportive experience for skaters of all ages.
Qualifications: Seeking an individual with proficient skating experience. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Must be at least 16 years of age or if 15, must obtain a work permit.
Duties: Working alongside our experienced skating instructors and under the direct supervision of the Skating Director, you'll gain valuable teaching and leadership experience while sharing your love of skating and serving as a positive role model for young skaters.
Responsibilities include:
Work Hours: Classes are generally held from September through July, with additional opportunities to assist during our August summer skating camp based on program needs and instructor availability.
