Overview
Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a C#/.NET Developer to join a collaborative engineering team building and supporting backend applications and RESTful APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with a solid foundation in C# and .NET who is looking to grow their skills while working on enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
Support backend services related to application configuration, user management, and system functionality.
Write and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Assist with implementing secure authentication and authorization solutions.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
1–3 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent internship/co-op experience).
Familiarity with developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
Familiarity with building or supporting RESTful APIs.
Familiarity of SQL Server and relational databases.
Understanding of software development best practices, including version control, debugging, and testing.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus but not required:
ASP.NET Core
Azure or other cloud platforms
Authentication technologies such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or Microsoft Entra ID
Swagger/OpenAPI
CI/CD pipelines
Unit or integration testing frameworks
IIS, SSRS, or Azure Application Insights
