Entry-Level Estimator

Reporting into the estimating and preconstruction team, the Entry-Level Estimator will play a key supporting role throughout the bid and budgeting process.

• Assist with quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications
• Review plans, documents, and project requirements to support accurate estimates
• Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers while developing industry relationships
• Track and organise subcontractor pricing and proposal information
• Support the preparation of budgets, estimates, and bid submissions
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify scope, pricing, and schedule requirements
• Maintain estimating records and contribute to process improvements

For the Entry-Level Estimator we are seeking:

• Previous experience in construction estimating, project engineering, project coordination, or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Understanding of quantity take-offs and basic estimating principles
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with subcontractors and vendors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software is advantageous
• Motivated, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in preconstruction and estimating
