Jr. Data Analyst - Process Improvement

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in developing reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision-making. JSG is seeking Jr. Data Analyst in Orange County, CA.- Hybrid.  This role is for a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to operational excellence and process innovation.  You will contribute to transforming how things are documented, streamlined, and will help optimize workflows—empowering onboarding, cross-training, and knowledge sharing across the organization. This pivotal role offers the chance to develop your analytical skills while making a tangible impact on company operations through process improvement and data-driven insights.
What You’ll Do:
Support the documentation of team processes, establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), and help create a central knowledge repository to enhance team efficiency. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in developing reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to improving onboarding experiences, cross-training programs, and operational transparency.
Required Skills:

• 1-2 years of related experience in data analysis or process improvement
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of SQL and data retrieval techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with VBA, Power Query, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
• Familiarity with automotive finance or related industries
• Ability to develop and maintain documentation standards and repositories

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Prior experience supporting process improvement initiatives or documentation projects
• Exposure to cross-functional team collaborations in a corporate environment

Additional Requirements:

• This is a hybrid role Monday – Thursday onsite in Orange County, CA and Friday - WFH
• Pay rate- $27.50 per hour
• Duration: 4 + months with potential for extension or further opportunities
