Journeyman System/Network Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph)

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Journeyman System/Network Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure required for the unified solution. This position works with Kubernetes environments, networking configurations, and Government platform services to ensure reliable system operation across all deployment environments.

Responsibilities:

• Support Kubernetes cluster configuration and management.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support integration with Government platform services.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions.
• Assist with security configuration and hardening.
• Support deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues.
• Document infrastructure configurations.
• Support disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Participate in security assessments and remediations.

Requirements:

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of system/network engineering experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack).
• Understanding of security principles and best practices.
