As we launch our newest location in Vernon Hills, we are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to serve as a key technical leader in the field and help establish the foundation for our long-term success.

This is more than a service technician position. As one of our first field hires, you will play an important role in shaping our culture, setting technical standards, and building the reputation that will define our presence in Lake County for years to come.

Job Summary

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of residential electrical systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will combine technical expertise, professionalism, and strong communication skills to provide customers with safe, effective solutions and peace of mind.

What Youll Do

• Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues accurately and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct electrical safety inspections and identify opportunities to improve system performance and safety.
• Present recommendations and pricing clearly using our Straightforward Pricing system.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle.
• Collaborate with dispatch and leadership to improve processes and support company growth.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, workmanship, and customer service.

What Were Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• All required state and local electrical licenses and certifications.
