Description

Immediately seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join our team. Position is located in San Antonio and surrounding areas (Charlotte, TX, etc.) The Lead Plumber will run commercial projects and lead a crew of Apprentice Plumbers. 

Job Details: 
  • Pay is $27/hr. or scale jobs up to $48/hr. 
  • Shift is 7am-4pm.

Duties:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawings.
  • Coordinate daily work activities with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
  • Install commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, gas, and storm drainage systems.
  • Lay out plumbing systems and verify measurements before installation.
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to crew members to maintain project timelines.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation or system issues in the field.
  • Install piping systems (PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, PEX).
  • Supervise and work with a 3-4-man crew of Apprentice plumbers.
  • Will work as a Journeyman on tools to assist with installs.

Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyman Plumbing License required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints to meet deadlines and layout crew.
  • Will be required to work alongside crew of Apprentice Plumbers.
  • Must have tools and PPE.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
