Journeyman Plumber

Assembles, installs and repairs pipe, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems. !

• Knowledge and ability to read blue prints
• Must be able to assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating water and drainage systems
• Inspect structure to ascentain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure results from pipe insallation
• Cuts openings in walls and floors as needed to accomodate pipe and pipe fittings
• Cuts and threads pipe
• Bends pipe to required angles
• Insatlls and repairs plumbing fixtures
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending pipes and opening clogged drains.
