Essel is looking for an experienced Journeyman HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a self-motivated professional who is skilled in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC systems are installed and functioning correctly to provide optimal comfort for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork and refrigeration systems based on specifications.
- Provide thorough maintenance and repair services for HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
- Collaborate with project managers and apprentices to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Communicate with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide expert recommendations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid HVAC Journeyman license or significant equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in HVAC installation and service.
- Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and residential/commercial equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor with clients.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
