About the Role:CM Electric Inc is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Wheeling, IL! We offer competitive pay, growth opportunities, and a supportive company culture. As a journeyman electrician with our team, you'll work on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring that each project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, or industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment failures
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members on job sites
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards
Requirements: - Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Must have basic electrician tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with conduit bending, panel wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
- Communication skills in English
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
